Authors Alessandro Marson and Thereza Falcão made a series of changes to the story. One of them was the dead character himself, who had changes in the adaptation.

Furthermore, the writers changed the events of the murder of Natália’s brother (Mariana Santos), which has a completely different explanation from the original version.

Who killed Bruno in Elas por Elas?

In the new version of the plot, Globo maintained the fact that Natália was freaked out because of what happened and tried at all costs to find out who killed her twin brother, going so far as to distrust her own friends.

After many suspicions, the photographer manages to discover the truth after a reconstruction of what happened that day with the help of Mário (Lázaro Ramos) and her friends.

When remembering the day of the tragedy, Natália remembers what happened and accuses Sérgio (Marcos Caruso) of having killed Bruno. The rich guy denies it, arguing that he wasn’t even in town that day and tries to discredit her version.

However, Adriana (Thalita Carauta) knows it’s a lie, since it was precisely that day that the two spent the night together after he gave her a lift on the road after she hurriedly left the house in the mountains.

Natália remembers that she had a fight with her brother and then fell, passing out after hitting her head on a rock in the fall. When she woke up, she saw Sérgio pushing Bruno into the cliff.

The businessman was there that day to give the boy a suitcase of money as payment for the blackmail that Helena (Fernanda Lasevitch/Isabel Teixeira) was suffering from Bruno so he wouldn’t tell him that he was the real father of the child she was expecting, and not Jonas. (Dani Flomin/Matthew Solano).

In the 1982 serial written by Cassiano Gabus Mendes, Bruno was called Zé Roberto (André Diamand). He did not reach adulthood and died in childhood after being pushed from a waterfall. Furthermore, he was not Natália’s (Joana Fomm) twin.

Freaked out, Natália always tried to unravel the death of her younger brother and, to do so, induced her other brother, Carlos (Herson Capri) – renamed Pedro (Alexandre Borges) in the adaptation -, to get involved with her friends to find out which one of them had committed the crime.

Carlos followed his sister’s instructions, but during this investigation he fell in love with Wanda (Sandra Bréa) – who is equivalent to Taís (Késia) in the remake. This fact remained the same in the new version, with Taís staying together with Pedro, but the rest was changed.

Who killed Bruno in the first version of Elas por Elas?

In the first version of Elas por Elas, Natália started having sessions with the psychiatrist Décio (Marco Nanini) – equivalent to Lígia (Paula Burlamaqui) in the adaptation – to try to understand what happened on the day of the tragedy.

The freak then discovered that it was herself who caused her brother’s death by pushing him during a strong argument. The protagonist was shocked when she made the discovery and realized that she had forgotten everything due to the great trauma she suffered.

After unraveling the mystery, Natália managed to recover little by little and later apologized to her friends for the unfair accusation against them all these years.
