In the early hours of this Wednesday (1st), Sean Strickland, known for his explosive temper inside the octagon, starred in an unusual scene outside it. Through his social networks, the former middleweight champion (up to 83.9 kg) of UFC published images from security cameras at his residence where he appears armed after being harassed by a group of young people.

According to the athlete’s own caption, the incident occurred around 1 am, when the security system alerted him to the presence of individuals on his property.

The images show a car approaching the house, followed by a figure heading towards the door. A loud noise is audible, indicating that the person hit hard. Seconds later, Strickland appears on the porch wearing a bathrobe, with a pistol in his hand.

“You have a car, it’s Friday night, why aren’t you trying to enjoy life? Kids these days. Total lack of priorities”, questioned Strickland on his official Instagram, directing his criticism at young offenders.

Fortunately, no one was injured in the incident. However, the UFC middleweight used the episode as a warning.

“I didn’t even see the doorbell notification until afterward. Just so you know, I get crazy things coming to my house,” she declared.

This is not the first time that Strickland has had to use a firearm to defend himself in his home. The fighter appeared to detain a man suspected of domestic violence who was trying to escape the police. At the time, the American held the individual at gunpoint until the authorities arrived.
