Specialist in covering everything about Xbox on The Verge, journalist Tom Warren brought a little more behind-the-scenes information about Microsoft’s busy week. According to him, Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2, in the future, could reach the PlayStation 5.

The news comes amid many rumors about what has been happening behind the scenes following the closure of four Bethesda studios — including the acclaimed Tango Gameworks, from Hi-Fi Rush. When talking about the performance of Xbox Game Studios titles, he commented on what he expects for 2024 and includes the game in the subject:
Xbox now has a strong gaming lineup planned for 2024, with Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2 debuting in a matter of weeks on May 21st. I understand that Hellblade 2 is another game that Microsoft has been considering for the PS5. If that happens someday, at this point, it’s unclear whether even that would be considered a success.
At the moment, the game’s sequel will only be released for Xbox and PC, directly on Game Pass. Therefore, even with Warren’s extensive experience covering Microsoft, it is good to treat this as a rumor and expect news in the coming months.
