PlayStation highlighted an expansion of gaming options with the introduction of PS Remote Play on Android TV and Chromecast devices with Google TV. This update gives players more ways to enjoy their PS5 and PS4 games, increasing accessibility and gameplay flexibility.

PS Remote Play on Android TV OS devices allows gamers to stream their PS5 and PS4 games directly from their PlayStation console to a compatible TV in another room in the house. This means that players can continue their adventures even when the console is on a TV that is in use by others.

Furthermore, the functionality extends to televisions connected to Chromecast with Google TV, further expanding the gaming possibilities in different home environments.

To get started, players can download the PS Remote Play app on a BRAVIA XR A95L TV or a Chromecast device with Google TV. Once installed, they can connect a DualSense or DualShock 4 wireless controller and start playing instantly.

PS Remote Play requires a broadband internet connection with a minimum speed of 5 Mbps, with a speed of at least 15 Mbps recommended for an optimal experience. It’s important to note that a greater distance between the PS5 or PS4 console and the remote TV may increase latency.

For more information about compatibility and system requirements, interested parties can visit the official PlayStation website.
