These statistics were removed following an update to Platinum titles on Capcom’s official page. Over the past seven years, the remake of the second game has been leading with 13.6 million units sold, followed by RE7 with 13 million.
In terms of equivalence, from 1996 to 2016, 72 million units were sold. Since then, 82 million copies have reached fans, covering RE7, Village, RE2 Remake, RE3 Remake, RE4 Remake, Resistance, ReVerse and the previous catalog.
