Microsoft has just announced the date for the Xbox Showcase. The PlayStation competitor’s news will be revealed on the day June 9, a Tuesday, at 2 pm — Brasília time. And from the looks of it, fans of the brand will have a little surprise, kept under lock and key until now.

Microsoft itself guaranteed this. In the article where the announcement was made, they said the following:
Just like our double launch last year with Starfield Direct, right after the Showcase, we will be streaming a special dive into the next chapter of a beloved franchise. We can’t say much yet, so for now we’ll call it the Xbox Games Showcase followed by [REDACTED] Direct.
Throughout the presentation, work from Microsoft’s internal studios, such as Activision, Blizzard, Bethesda and Xbox Game Studios, will be present. Games from partner companies (third-party) are also guaranteed, so we are likely to see news for PlayStation.
