What started with some confusion on the day of the launch of Fallout 4’s long-awaited free upgrade finally had a positive outcome. Anyone who got the Bethesda game through the (defunct) PS Plus Collection can now also enjoy the new feature without paying anything for it.

When the patch arrived, many complaints were directed to the company, however, they promised to deliver the update to all players as soon as they identified the problem. On Monday night (29), Bethesda finally brought good news for those who wanted to have fun in the game in its native version of the PS5:
Thank you for letting us know that some PS Plus subscribers were unable to access the free Fallout 4 next-gen update on PlayStation. This issue has been successfully resolved. Subscribers who already received Fallout 4 from the PlayStation Plus Collection should now be able to access the update as intended.
