Apparently, the Huawei may be preparing to sell globally the new smartphones in the Pura 70 line. This is because the standard model and the Pro variant received certification from SIRIM in Malaysia.

The Pura 70 carries the number ADY-LX9, while the Pura 70 Pro receives the HBN-LX9. Both support 5G connection, Wi-Fi 6 and NFC for contactless payments.

Furthermore, the regulatory agency makes it clear that they are “eligible for sale in Malaysia” and can be launched at any time in the country.

For now, Huawei is not commenting on the matter, but this certification draws attention because the company did not risk selling the Mate 60 line outside of China, for example.

Therefore, this possible launch of the Pura 70 family in Malaysia and other markets shows that the Chinese company really wants to regain relevance in the global market after the 2019 American sanctions.

Sources recently revealed that Huawei already feels secure about its chip supply chain, as it has reached 90% of parts produced in China.

Furthermore, an executive made it clear that HarmonyOS Next should also gain a global version later. Therefore, everything indicates that Huawei’s return will be slow and gradual in the international smartphone market.
