Update (04/29/2024) – YB

Announced last week, the ID@Xbox Showcase 2024, an Xbox event focused on indie games, was finally presented today (29/04) and many news about independent titles for Microsoft’s gaming ecosystem were revealed in almost an hour of broadcast .

Furthermore, we had news about already known titles, such as Palworld and Vampire Survivor, both of which are already on Xbox Game Pass. For new featured games, we got a small preview of the new IP from Don’t Nod, creators of Life Is Strange, Centum and Promise Mascote Agency.

If you missed the broadcast that took place this afternoon, don’t worry, here are the main titles presented throughout the event. Look:

Astor: Blade of the Monolith started the event with lots of action, interesting art direction and a good soundtrack. The game puts us in the shoes of a mysterious character, who is capable of using different weapons and magic. This title should arrive in stores on May 30th and will be released for Xbox, PC, PlayStation and Nintendo Switch.

33 Immortals also appeared at the event and delivered cooperative gameplay with roguelike elements and shows that several players can come together to face several big bosses, such as Lucifer, on missions in a very dangerous world. According to the developer, cooperation is the key to winning.

A successful name was also present at the event: Palworld. Pocketpair, responsible for developing the game, came to show that new Pals are coming to the game world in a new update. The company says this update should arrive in the North American summer, which starts at the end of June and runs until September.

For those who like a lot of strategy with tactical elements and good difficulty, Commandos: Origins is the right choice. Still in the North American summer, the game will receive a beta and its final version will be confirmed for Game Pass on Xbox and PC.

One of the interesting highlights is “Centum”. This is a narrative game in which we need to escape from a prison while searching for mysterious items that should reveal several unique secrets. The game promises to be a horror filled with puzzles and should arrive later this year for Xbox Series S/X and PC.

Another game that draws attention is Lost Records: Bloom & Rage, created by the same team responsible for Life Is Strange, and this will be another narrative game that tells a story of youth, but is part of a mystery that involves the death of a character. The game will arrive later this year for PC, Xbox Series S/X and PlayStation 5.

At the event, a peculiar new feature was also presented: Keylocker. This is a cyberpunk RPG game made in pixel art that shows a dystopian future in which music has been banned completely. The theme is reflected in its gameplay, as we have to create melodies and sing to defeat our enemies.

The title arrives in summer 2024 for PC, Xbox, PlayStation and Nintendo Switch

Here comes another very promising survival: Beast: The Sundered Tribes is a title created and developed by Massive Damage and promises an RPG with lots of monster hunting and village management. The game should arrive in 2024 for Xbox Series S/X and PC.

All You Need is Help is one of the titles that also attracted a lot of attention at the event. In this game, players must assume different forms to solve different puzzles. The game has catchy music, is cooperative and will arrive for Xbox Series S/X, PC, PlayStation 5 and Switch, in addition to being available Day One on Game Pass.

Promise Mascot Agency is the new title from the creators of Paradise Killer and in it we incorporate a legendary Yakuza who will take care of an agency that rents cute mascots. The game is almost like The Way of the Househusband that mixes reality and fantasy. Furthermore, it will only arrive in 2025 for PC, Xbox One and Xbox Series S/X.

Announced last year, Dungeons of Hinterberg appeared at the event to provide more news about its world: the game shows many Puzzle options to be solved in a cartoonish graphic that attracts attention. The game’s release date was revealed and will arrive on July 18, 2024 for Xbox Series S/X and PC.

Finally, in the presentation we had the trailer for the Contra DLC that will arrive for Vampire Survivor. Another game cameo in the famous monster-busting title.
