There is good news for those who have Tinder installed! The online dating platform has just implemented a much-desired option.

For our readers who are not familiar with the Tinder, is an online dating app that allows people to meet potential partners based on geographic proximity, mutual interests and age preferences. With a simple and intuitive interface, users can Slide (known as ‘to do swipe’) to the right if they are interested or to the left if they are not.

If they both swipe right, a “match” and they can start exchanging messages. Now, the platform dates most used around the world, it has finally implemented a feature that has been long awaited by all those who use it. The truth is that many, especially women, already shared information about their meetings with friends and/or family as a safety measure.

However, Tinder has a new tool that will optimize this process. It’s called “Share my encounter“. This feature allows users to send a link with details of the upcoming date, including the partner’s name, location, date and time. They can even add a personalized note. Calls can be sent up to 30 days before the meeting and are editable.

Recipients can view details, including the match’s full profile, if they have a Tinder account. If they are not registered, they will have access to a limited version of the profile. This initiative comes at a time when dating apps are facing slower growth due to factors such as market saturation and changing usage trends.
