The Galaxy Note 9 and even the Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus could soon receive the Artificial Intelligence features of the Galaxy AI suite thanks to a custom ROM.
The news was confirmed by developer AlexisXDA, who is responsible for Noble ROM. In a post on the social network X (formerly Twitter), he also confirmed that the latest version of the software should be released in May.
Among the Galaxy AI features that already work on the Galaxy Note 9 we have: circle to search, real-time translation, intelligent editing to remove or move objects in photos and the Interpreter.

This is a somewhat commendable initiative from the developer. This is because the Galaxy Note 9 and S9 are old smartphones that have chips that were not designed for AI processing.
Therefore, the recommendation is that users exercise a little caution, as the ROM may contain some bugs and even chokes due to the chipset’s dated performance.
The developer has not yet published further details about the ROM and has only provided a few screenshots. Therefore, the recommendation is to wait.
In any case, if it is a successful initiative, many users of other old smartphones and even Samsung intermediaries will put pressure on the company.
