Acer confirmed this Wednesday (27) that it will expand its offer of gaming notebooks in Brazil with the launch of the Nitro V 15. The model has different hardware options, catering to gamers looking for very high performance to the most economical ones.

The Nitro V 15 is equipped with a 15.6-inch screen with IPS technology, Full HD resolution and 144Hz refresh rate. With a robust design, the panel is installed between thick edges that house a webcam. Complementing the audiovisual, the gaming notebook has a speaker system with DTS:X Ultra.

Under the backlit keyboard, the notebook features 13th generation Core processors from Intel, as well as dedicated graphics cards from NVIDIA. The first models available on the Brazilian market feature the GeForce RTX 2050, but soon, the Nitro V 15 will be available in versions that include the GeForce RTX 3050 and GeForce RTX 4050.

In the memory department, the device has 8 GB of DDR5 RAM up to 5,200 MHz. The hardware is cooled by a system of fans that help the processor and video card work at maximum power for longer periods.

Ensuring a good variety of physical connections, the Nitro V 15 has three USB-A ports, one USB-C, one HDMI, one Ethernet and a headphone jack. The ports are positioned on the sides between grilles that optimize airflow inside the notebook, which can help reduce its temperature when playing games.

While the notebook is not yet available through Acer’s official sales partners, it is worth remembering that the Nitro V 15 arrived in the United States with suggested prices starting at US$699 (around R$3,479) for the version equipped with the Intel processor Core i5-13420H and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2050 graphics card.

Another recent launch of the Taiwanese gamer line is the Nitro 17, officially introduced in January during CES 2024, which stands out for having 14th generation Core processors from Intel, as well as cutting-edge GPUs from NVIDIA, such as the RTX 4060 For now, there is no forecast for the launch of this model in Brazil.
