Endrick explains the craze and puts together a playlist with songs sung in important games

Endrick will be at the 2024 Copa América. Called up by coach Dorival Júnior and about to turn 18, the striker will wear the shirt of the main Brazilian team for the third time and thus anticipates saying goodbye to Palmeiras in the transfer process to Real Madrid, from Spain. The striker will have seven more games with the Verdão shirt (see list below).

The duel against San Lorenzo, in the sixth round of Conmebol Libertadores, will mark the farewell of the Alviverde fans, at Allianz Parque, while the duel with Galo, at Arena MRV, will be the last for the athlete wearing the Verdão shirt, according to the schedule confirmed by the attacker’s staff.

Endrick will therefore miss around nine to 11 Palmeiras matches, in the Brasileirão alone. The Libertadores comes to a halt and only resumes on August 14, one month after the end of the Copa América. And these accounts are explained by the calendar.

The sale agreement to Real Madrid provides for the striker to report to Spain as soon as he turns 18, which happens on July 21st.

– He joins Real Madrid immediately after turning 18 – says the striker’s agent, Thiago Freitas, from Roc Nation.

The list of games that Endrick will miss (no detailed date in the table yet):

  1. Palmeiras x Bragantino – 10th round of the Brazilian Championship
  2. Palmeiras x Juventude – 11th round of the Brazilian Championship

The preparation of the Brazilian team begins with the presentation of the athletes on June 3, for those defending national clubs. There will be friendlies against Mexico and the United States on June 8th and 12th, and the Copa América takes place between June 14th and July 14th.

The debut will be against Costa Rica, on June 24, at SoFi Stadium, in Inglewood. Afterwards, the team faces Paraguay and Colombia in the group stage.

There was an expectation that Endrick would still play, for example, the matches against Fluminense and Vitória – scheduled for July 17th and 21st, with no confirmed dates on the calendar – before transferring to Real Madrid. This possibility, however, is not in the plans at this time.

Star of Alviverde and considered one of the biggest promises in Brazilian football, the striker starts at 4pm on Sunday, at Arena Barueri, the last steps of the seven final matches for the club that discovered him.

  1. Palmeiras x Athletico – At 4pm on May 12th, at Arena Barueri, for the 6th round of the Brazilian Championship
