The surfer performed the action alongside other famous names in the sport. In addition to him, Pedro Scooby, Willyam Santana, Ian Cosenza, Iankel Noronha, Felipe Cesarano, Lucas Chumbo and Alemão de Maresias, who is a reference in water rescue. Watch the video of the operation below!

This was not the only action taken by the world surfing champion in the fight against the floods in Rio Grande do Sul. To raise funds and help families, Ítalo Ferreira auctioned off 10 autographed boards.
In addition to getting the horse off the slab, the surfers collected supplies for the victims and, in total, have already rescued hundreds of people and animals from risky areas.
