Company that also sponsors Corinthians had already made contact with the club at the beginning of 2024, but without success in negotiations
Cruzeiro intensified conversations with Gusttavo Lima’s betting house, VaiDeBet, sponsor of Corinthians, as the GOAL. The good relationship between businessman Pedro Lourenço and the country singer made the brand get closer to the club in recent days. A round of negotiations can seal the agreement between the parties.
Other bookmakers consulted Cruzeiro about a possible agreement, but they all heard the same answer: VaiDeBet would be preferred in the negotiations. A GOAL found that at least two competing companies sought the new majority partner of SAF (Sociedade Anônima do Futebol), but were frustrated with the negotiations.
The board plans to increase revenue from sponsorships. There is no specific number yet, but the club’s new majority partner, Pedro Lourenço, has been talking to some brands in order to reach an agreement.
