Women’s handball from Araraquara wins Praia Grande – Portal Morada

In the third round of the Campeonato Paulista, junior women’s handball from Fundesport/Araraquara beat Praia Grande 30 to 15, last Saturday (4), at Ginásio Milton Olaio Filho, in São Carlos.

For this same competition, the next challenge for the team led by coach Robison dos Santos will be on May 25th, against São José dos Campos, at 4pm, on the opponent’s court.

According to Robison, Araraquara won again at Paulista despite currently having several absences due to injuries. “Our team demonstrated potential and reaction strength against Praia Grande, controlling the game from start to finish”, he analyzes.

Still according to Santos, the girls maintained their concentration to overcome the absences, with a good defensive posture and decisive counterattacks that determined the final score.

Having spent almost two weeks of preparation and physical recovery, the team will return to the court on May 19th, in the Liga Brasil, against Uberaba, at 10 am, in Catanduva.

“The expectation is to continue training hard to overcome the obstacles, as the next opponents will be very complicated”, emphasizes Robison.

In addition to the City Hall, through the Municipal Department of Sports and Leisure, Fundesport/Araraquara junior women’s handball has support from Charanguinha, Handcola, Seja.Octo Fisioterapia and Unicesumar.
