Mauricio Ruffy’s fight in UFC 301, at Farmasi Arena, in Rio de Janeiro, had it all! The Brazilian beat Jamie Mullarkey, from Australia, by technical knockout in the 1st round, with the right to the “scissors” and took the opportunity to poke Islam Makhachev.

In the first blow of the fight, Luffy threw a “football cart” at his opponent and showed that he wasn’t kidding. With his movement, he cornered the Australian and undermined his opponent’s face with a beautiful sequence of punches.

After a spectacular fall that brought the crowd to its feet, a sequence of punches led to the Australian’s technical knockout. In the interview in the octagon, he took the opportunity to poke at Islam Makhachev, current lightweight champion.
