André Luiz, initially revealed by the America-RJ youth teams and later by Flamengo, had his professional career marked by a recent significant change. The 22-year-old striker, after temporarily standing out for Estrela Amadora de Portugal, is now part of the club permanently. The Portuguese team acquired 70% of the player’s economic rights for 600 thousand euros, which is equivalent to around R$3.2 million.
The negotiation, initially reported by journalist Venê Casagrande, highlights Estrela Amadora’s interest in keeping André Luiz after a successful loan period. During his stay at the club, André participated in 25 matches and contributed with four goals, numbers that helped the team fight in the Portuguese league, where they currently find themselves just one point above the relegation zone.
With just three rounds remaining, every match and every point becomes crucial to the club’s survival in the top flight.
