With the sale of majority control of Cruzeiro to Pedro Lourenço, Ronaldo Nazário now owns just one club: Real Valladolid from Spain. The team led by Paulo Pezzolano, former Cruzeiro commander, is in the final stretch of the Spanish second division and is fighting for access to LaLiga 2024/2025.

After 37 rounds of the Hypermotion League, Valladolid is in second place, with 64 points, behind only Leganés, better in the tiebreaker criteria.
