This Friday afternoon (26th) the official weigh-in took place UFC Vegas 91, which will be held on Saturday (27), at the company’s facilities in Las Vegas (USA). A true legion of Brazilians will be in action at the show, with a total of seven fighters.
Starting in the main fight of UFC Vegas 91, Matheus Nicolau weighed 56.9kg on the scales in flyweight, while Alex Perez weighed 57.1kg. Still on the main card, in a duel between Brazilian women, Ariane Silva scored 57.1kg against 56.9 Karen Silva at flyweight. Rookie Jonatha Diniz weighed 120.2kg in the heavyweight division, while Austen Lane weighed 115.4kg.
In the preliminary card, the experienced Rani Yahya he reached 61.6kg in the bantamweight division and saw Victor Henry weigh 61.4kg. In heavyweight, Caio Machado weighed 114kg and was around 5kg lighter than Don’tale Males (119.7kg). Ketlen Souza and Marnic Mann scored 52.3kg in the straws.
Two athletes failed to make weight at UFC Vegas 91. David Onama was around 1.5kg above the featherweight limit when weighing in at 67.3kg. James Llontop weighed 70.9kg and exceeded the light weight limit by 500g. So far, both remain on the card and will be fined part of the purse.
UFC Vegas 91 starts at 5pm (Brasília time), with the emotions of the preliminary card. The main fights of the show will start at 8pm – with live broadcast from Band, on open TV, throughout Brazil. To follow the event in full, simply access Fight Pass, Ultimate’s streaming service.
