With the imminent arrival of Mbappé, striker Rodrygo’s future at Real Madrid began to be questioned given Carlo Ancelotti’s diverse options for the offensive sector.
This Thursday (25), the Spanish newspaper “Sport” reported on the Brazilian’s possible departure at the end of the season. The publication stated that Rodrygo does not have a guaranteed future at Real Madrid.
The Spanish also stated that Rodrygo will have the decisive stretch of the Champions League to demonstrate his value. The striker has been an absolute starter for the Merengue team.
“Next season, with the arrival of Mbappé, his continuity is not guaranteed. Rodrygo has the chance to further expand his importance and turn his possible departure into a serious dilemma within the club and in the Merengue stands. Maybe he will do it through the Champions League”, wrote the Spanish newspaper.
