Ferrari reached a multi-year agreement with Hewlett Packard [HP], an American technology multinational, as the team’s main sponsor in Formula 1 from the next stage of the 2024 season, at the Miami GP. Thus, the United States round will bring the Maranello team under a new identity, now as ‘Scuderia Ferrari HP’. According to the Spanish newspaper Marca, the negotiation is worth around €100 million (around R$552.4 million).

The partnership will become obvious in the next stage of Formula 1, as the HP brand will be printed in the center of the uniforms of Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz, Ferrari’s starters for the 2024 season. In addition, the logo will also be on the upper back from the car, close to Santantonio.
The partnership between the brands also foresees the presence of HP on Ferrari’s uniforms in eSports and in the F1 Academy, where the team supports driver Maya Weug, who races for Prema and currently occupies second place in the table.

The partnership with Ferrari represents a new step for HP in sports investments. Last February, the brand announced its sponsorship of Real Madrid, a Spanish football club. The logo is on the sleeve of the shirt, in negotiations worth around €70 million (R$386.8 million).
Formula 1 returns from May 3 to 5 for the Miami GP, the first of three that will take place in the United States in the 2024 season.
