Boca Juniors star, Uruguayan striker Cavani will not be present in the game against Fortaleza, this Thursday, in the group stage of the Sudamericana. The player trained separately from the squad on Tuesday (23) and, with muscle fatigue, will be spared from the duel in the Capital of Ceará.

Goalkeeper Chiquito Romero and defender Cristian Lema, considered doubtful for the game, were listed and will continue with the Argentine delegation to Fortaleza.

Against River Plate, at the weekend, Cavani left the field in the second half, citing physical issues. Boca Juniors coach, Diego Martínez, wants to have the player “100%” already thinking about the Argentine League Cup semi-final against Estudiantes.
