Belo Horizonte dawned full of banners thanking Ronaldo, this Saturday (4/5). Recently, the football idol sold his shares in the club to businessman Pedro Lourenço, better known as Pedrinho, an illustrious Raposa fan.
Despite the episodes and pre-sale pressure, Cruzeiro fans expressed gratitude to the former player. On banners spread across the capital of Minas Gerais, people from Cruzeiro thanked Ronaldo and made reference to the star’s nickname: “You are phenomenal”, says one of them.
In others, Cruzeiro residents adapted phrases from the club and declared Ronaldo “from Cruzeiro”. Check out some tracks:

Recently, before Ronaldo closed a deal with Pedrinho, Cruzeiro fans burned a flag that showed the image of Fenômeno as a young man wearing the Cruzeiro shirt. The flag had been a tribute to the now businessman.
Also, in the game against Vitória for the Brazilian Championship, on 4/28, part of the fans placed a banner that said “Bye, Ronaldo” on the stands.
