Sportv commentators choose Brazilian favorites in the Libertadores

You Sportv Seleção commentators met, this Tuesday (2), to analyze the situation of Brazilian teams in Liberators cup. Atlético, Botafogo, Flamengo, Fluminense, Grêmio, Palmeiras and São Paulo are this season’s representatives.

According to the opinions of André Rizek, Renata Mendonça, Paulo Nunes and Pedro Moreno, Flamengo and Palmeiras are the big favorites. On the other hand, Atlético and Fluminense were classified as strong candidates for the title.

Debuts in the Copa Libertadores

O Atlético is in Group G of the Copa Libertadores. Galo will have Peñarol (URU), Rosario Central (ARG) and Caracas (VEN) as opponents at this stage of the competition. The debut will be at 7pm (Brasília time) this Thursday (4), against Caracas, in Venezuela.

Botafogo will face LDU-EQU, Junior Barranquilla-COL and Universitario-PER in the group stage of the 2024 Libertadores. The first challenge will be against Junior Barranquila, at 7pm (Brasília time) this Wednesday (3), in Rio de Janeiro.

Flamengo will face Bolívar-BOL, Millionarios-COL and Palestino-CHL in the group stage of the 2024 Libertadores. The debut will be against Millionarios at 7pm (Brasília time) this Tuesday (2), in Colombia.

Current champion of the Copa Libertadores, Fluminense is in Group A of the competition, with Cerro Porteño-PAR, Alianza Lima-PER and Colo-Colo-CHI. At 9:30 pm (Brasília time) this Wednesday (3), Tricolor will face Alianza Lima, in Peru.

Grêmio’s group in the Copa Libertadores has Estudiantes de La Plata, from Argentina; The Strongest, from Bolivia; and Huachipato, from Chile. Tricolor is the top seed in Group C and debuts at 9pm (Brasília time) this Tuesday (2), against The Strongest, in Bolivia.

The opponents of Palm trees in the group stage of Liberators cup from 2024 will be Independiente Del Valle-EQU, San Lorenzo-ARG and Liverpool-URU. Verdão will take the first step at 9:30 pm (Brasília time) this Wednesday (3), against San Lorenzo, in Argentina.

Finally, São Paulo is the top seed in group B and will face Barcelona de Guayaquil-EQU, Talleres-ARG and Cobresal-CHI. Tricolor will face Talleres, at 9pm (Brasília time) this Thursday (4), in Argentina.
