Ademir at Santos? Just speculation!
A speculated target in Santos to reinforce the squad for the Series B dispute was Ademir, from Bahia. The 29-year-old striker was one of SAF tricolor’s biggest investments in Salvador last year.
Despite strong speculation, the winger’s staff denies any negotiations with Peixe. There was also no contact from members of the Santos board via shirt 7.
Ademir has a contract at Esquadrão de Aço until the end of 2025 and has already been used by coach Rogério Ceni in 17 games this season. There are three goals and four assists from the Bahia left-hander.
In the tricolor defeat to rival Vitória by 3-2, last Sunday (31), in the final of the Campeonato Baiano, Ademir entered the second half in place of Everton Ribeiro. It is by Ceni’s choice that the winger has been a substitute in recent matches.

Santos debuts in Série B on April 20th as home team against Paysandu. There is still no confirmation of the location, as president Marcelo Teixeira does not hide that his preference is to play in São Paulo, for greater income for the Vila’s coffers.
