The Libertadores 2024 group stage begins this Tuesday, with five games. The first round will be completed on Wednesday and Thursday, with another 11 matches.

The CONMEBOL Libertadores group stage will begin: Brazilians remain favorites

Flamengo will be the first Brazilian to enter the field and will face Millonarios, at 7pm (Brasília time), in Colombia. Later, at 9pm, Grêmio takes on The Strongest, in Bolivia.

Wednesday will see the debuts of three more Brazilian teams. Current champion Fluminense takes on Allianza Lima, at 9:30 pm (Brasília time), in Peru. At the same time, but in Argentina, Palmeiras faces San Lorenzo. Earlier, at 7pm (Brasília time), Botafogo faces Junior Barranquilla, in Rio de Janeiro.

Thursday will be marked by the games of São Paulo, at 9pm (Brasília time), against Talleres-ARG, at the Mario Alberto Kempes stadium, and Atlético-MG, which visits Caracas, in Venezuela, at 7pm (Brasília time). ).

The top two from each group advance. The knockout stage draw is scheduled for the beginning of June. The competition will be paused due to the Copa América. Therefore, the round of 16 will be played between August 14th and 21st. Wednesdays from September 18th to 25th. The semi-finals are scheduled to take place from October 23rd to 30th.

The 2024 Copa Libertadores final will be in Buenos Aires. The match is scheduled for November 30th. This format, with a single game decision, began in 2019.
