Exclusive for members, the first sports club with a heated and covered surf pool in Brazil is 40% complete; delivery is scheduled for December 2024
With 100% national technology, Surf Center, the first sports club with a heated and covered surfing pool in Brazil, closes the first half of March with 85% of titles sold.
Exclusive for members, in addition to the swimming pool for surfing, the complex has a complete training center for practicing different sports. “In addition to surfers, today we receive many families looking for an environment that encourages the sport. By becoming a member, the whole family can enjoy the structure, regardless of age, which also provides social interaction and the opportunity to make new friends”, says the CEO of Surf Center, Fabricio Stedile.
In the structure of Surf Center, a fully equipped bodybuilding gym and various types of sports, including Crossurf®️ training, surfing classes at the Studio Surf Center Method, formerly Brasil Surf®️, fights and machine pilates. The club also offers a 250 square meter skate park and beach tennis courts, as well as a climbing wall.
Businessman Hugo Mansur acquired six titles from Surf Center. “When I participated in the first meeting to present the project, I really liked the transparency and seriousness that was conveyed to me, in a very welcoming and happy environment. During the process, I was present at all events and visited the site frequently, seeing the high-quality level of professionalism employed in every detail. I already knew some of the Surf Center managers, and I had no doubts about confirming my presence on this wave. I bought more than one title as an investment, as I am sure that Surf Center will be very disruptive and desired by everyone”, he says.
With delivery scheduled for December 2024, the general work is already 40% complete, with the deep foundation almost completed. “The first tests in the pool are scheduled for the beginning of the second semester, when we will enter the finishing and completion phase of the work”, says Stedile.
Surf Center’s GT3K wave generator is the first 100% national wave generator in the segment of dynamic artificial waves with a patent filed. With intelligent technology, flexibility allows you to create different types of waves, unique to each practitioner, in addition to low operational and maintenance costs, as the manufacturing mechanism is located outside the water. In Curitiba, waves can vary from half a meter to one meter, lasting 8 to 12 seconds, with up to 240 waves per hour. “In addition to creating exclusive waves according to the level of each member, we will have waves signed by the world surfing champion, Adriano de Souza, Mineirinho, and the ambassador of women’s surfing in Brazil, Marina Werneck, both partners of Surf Center, in addition to from other professional surfers”, he adds.
In the Surf Center space, attached to the work, it is possible to see the prototype that simulates the operation of the wave pool, on a 1:10 scale. When simulating the waves in the prototype, it is possible to experience the Surf Center experience in practice: just choose between the four test bracelets available and reproduce the selected wave, to get to know the technology up close.
The Surf Center space is located at Rua Delfina Braga Visinoni, 401 – Orleans, and is open from Monday to Friday, from 9am to 5:30pm, and on Saturdays, from 9am to 1pm. The Surf Center club is located three minutes from Barigui Park.
