Argentine Diego Schwartzman, former top 10 and currently 122nd in the world, gave an interview to ESPN’s Generación F program in his country and ended up confessing that he plans not to play Roland Garros if he has to compete in the qualifying tournament.

“If I have to play in the qualifiers, I don’t know if I will go to Roland Garros. I’d rather prepare to participate in the Wimbledon bracket”, confessed the Argentine.

Diego Schwartzman has been facing the worst moment of his professional career and has gone seven consecutive matches without winning a game. And he found himself again with victories only at the Miami Masters, winning both qualifying matches, but losing in the main to the Russian Roman Safiullin, which really affected his morale and confidence.

“It was difficult for me to play in the Australian Open qualifier. Seeing myself in that situation made me sick”, he confessed that he lost in the first round of the quali to the North American Denis Kudla.
