Minas Gerais party! In the match valid for the NBB regular season, Minas Tênis Clube beat EC Pinheiros by a score of 81 to 51, in a match held at Arena UniBH, in Belo Horizonte. This was the Minastenista club’s 24th victory in the national competition, while the São Paulo team lost for the 18th time.
Minas’ biggest highlight in the duel was winger Danilo Fuzaro, who scored 13 points, three rebounds and three assists and was named the best player on the court. The team reaffirmed itself in third place overall, in a campaign of 24 wins and eight defeats. They will return to the courts next Saturday (30), at 5:10 pm, to face Corinthians. Pinheiros, on the other hand, only occupies 12th place, but is within the playoff classification zone. His highlight this Wednesday (27) was young Adyel, author of 15 points and three rebounds.

Pinheiros started the NBB match at a much faster pace than their opponent and soon opened up a six-point lead. The team maintained control until the end of the period and closed the quarter winning 22 to 14. Afterwards, Minas improved its defense and approached the lead on the scoreboard.
