Several cities in Rio Grande do Sul recorded storms on the afternoon of Saturday, the 27th. The main impacts were observed in Vale do Rio Pardo, around 150 km from Porto Alegre.
In Santa Cruz do Sul, there was hail and houses were damaged. In Quaraí, on the Western Border, the accumulated rainfall in the last 24 hours was 170.8 millimeters, according to the National Center for Monitoring and Alerts of Natural Disasters (Cemaden), and 178.6 millimeters, according to the National Institute of Meteorology (Inmet).
The State of Rio Grande do Sul still has a risk of storms in much of the Northern Half until Sunday, the 28th. There is a chance of strong rain and wind and hail, according to Inmet.
