The eight teams present in the quarterfinals of the Copa do Nordeste 2024 have been defined. Finished, this Wednesday, the last round of the first phase saw the team join the Bahiaalready previously classified, the following teams: Sport, Náutico, CRB, Ceará, Botafogo-PB, Fortaleza and Altos-PI.
The semi-finalists will be announced in a single game, scheduled for April 10th, with the two best classified in each group having the advantage of playing as home team.

The keys and confrontations
The best team in the first phase with 18 points, Bahia will host the Náutico team at Fonte Nova, which finished fourth in Group B. Fortaleza, second, will face Altos at Castelão.
In Group A, Sport scored 17 points, at the top. The Pernambuco team will have Ceará, last placed in the group, as its opponent, in a repeat of last year’s final. CRB, second placed, will host Botafogo-PB, at Rei Pelé.

The dates and times of the quarterfinal matches will still be defined by the Brazilian Football Confederation.
Victory and more eliminated
The biggest champion of the Copa do Nordeste – with four titles, alongside Bahia -, Vitória is eliminated from the Copa do Nordeste in the first phase. Leão beat Treze, but depended on a stumble from other teams in Group A to enter the classification group, which did not happen.
Only América-RN and Itabaiana-SE had reached the last round of Nordestão already eliminated. In addition to Vitória, the following clubs were added: ABC, Juazeirense, Treze, Itabaiana, Maranhão, River-PI and América-RN.

Reaching the quarter-finals earned the eight classified teams a prize of R$524,000, while for the semi-finals, R$733,000.
The quarter-finals and semi-finals will take place in single games, at the home of the club with the best campaign combined in all phases (points from the first phase and quarters added together).
The final will take place in two games, round trip. The team that scores the most points in the three previous phases will have the right to decide the title at home.
