Levay Film Productions promises to honor the memory of Roland Ratzenberger, with a documentary series that will take place against the backdrop of the 30th anniversary of his tragic death in an accident in Imola, on a black weekend for Formula 1, when Ayrton also lost his life Senna.

After having already released a feature film about the Austrian driver, Peter Levay has a documentary series ready that gives the public the opportunity to delve deeper into Ratzenberger’s life and career, with all the challenges involved in reaching Formula 1. It is a tribute to a talented athlete who died too soon and whose journey is little known to the general public.

The first episode will be released on April 8th.

We remember that the local promoters of the Grand Prix of Emilia Romagna and Made in Italy, in the year in which the 30th anniversary of that fateful weekend is celebrated, are preparing events to pay homage to Senna and Ratzenberger, while at the same time hoping that the race will be a moment of recovery for that Italian region, which in 2023 also lost a lot as a result of the floods that occurred and forced the cancellation of the F1 event.

Also the Netflix continues working on a new documentary series about Ayrton Senna da Silvaand should not be confused with the documentary that already exists and is quite popular.
