Flamengo and Franca should compete for first place until the end of the regular season. Qualifying for the Playoffs at the top of the rankings generates an advantage. The leader will be able to decide all the games in the next phase at home, alongside the fans.
The two teams normally play well-contested games in the championship, but the red-and-blacks had the advantage in this Tuesday’s game. At first, the São Paulo team even managed to play on equal terms, but from the third quarter onwards, the NBB leader dominated the match. Gui Deodato was the top scorer with 17 points. Gabriel Jaú and Olivinha ended up tied with 16 points.
