The influencer and YouTuber Maya Mazzafera, who recently underwent gender transition, posted a photo shoot on her social media this Thursday, the 9th. She had previously posted the chosen name and the documentary change to female. Maya is known for her interviews with celebrities, in pictures such as I never and visits to celebrity homes.
With the caption “Pleasure, Maya”, in a professional photoshoot, she presented her identity. Maya received support from friends and celebrities, such as Pabllo Vittar, who wrote “happy for you”. “Very beautiful”, continued Anitta. Rafael Uccman, Sarah Andrade, Bruna Tavares and Camilla de Lucas also praised the influencer.

Who is Maya Mazzafera?
Ma Mazzafera, formerly known as Matheus Mazzafera, revealed that she has transitioned gender. And, in an announcement made by the influencer herself on her social networks, she showed her chosen name: Maya Mazzafera.
Recently, she had already referred to herself with a female pronoun. At the time, she used her social media to reassure fans about her health, after undergoing surgery that left her with a temporary vision problem.
“I’m not blind like they’re saying. Due to a medical or team error, I did have vision loss, but I went to another hospital the same day. I’m almost seeing normal now,” he said then.
When news began to circulate that she had undergone sexual reassignment surgery, Ma Mazzafera vented online. Without confirming that she had actually undergone a gender transition, she revealed the reason why she had left the networks.
“Sometimes what we need is to go back to our mother’s womb… But that option is not possible. I was surviving and not living. I had to take a break from everything to find myself. It was either that or go away to another plane. I needed to stay away from the internet and treat myself. But I’ll be right back and I want to tell/share everything with you. You who have always been with me,” she said.
