A car without a driver caused an accident on Wednesday night (May 1st) on Avenida Presidente Antônio Carlos, near the Lagoinha neighborhood, in the Northwest region of Belo Horizonte. A 25-year-old woman was run over.

According to the police report, the owner of a VW Fox said he left home and did not find the vehicle where he had parked it, on Rio Novo Street. He noticed the movement of people a few meters below and noticed that his car went down the embankment, ran over the woman and then hit a pole. The version was confirmed by a witness.

The victim had a suspected fractured rib. Samu was called, but the woman refused to go to the hospital. The vehicle was unable to move and was removed by a tow truck called by the owner.
