President asked the minister to be more agile and talk more with congressmen at an event on Monday (April 22)
The vice-president and minister of Industry, Commerce and Services, Geraldo Alckmin (PSB), published, this Tuesday (23.Apr.2024), a meme on its social networks with the character Roadrunner, from Warner Bros. The post was made after the president Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT) having charged Alckmin and the minister Fernando Haddad (Farm) on Monday (April 22) for more agility and more conversations with congressmen. “Foot on the board”wrote the vice president in the publication.
The proadrunner (geococcyx californianus) is a bird that inspired the character Road Runner, who is part of the Looney Tunes gang and is known for being fast. “Four years seems like a long time, but it goes by very quickly”said Alckmin.
In the publication, the vice president wrote that 4 years pass very quickly and Lula “has already made history”by approving a new fiscal framework, tax reform and resuming a series of social policies that are reducing poverty, increasing income and creating jobs in Brazil. “But we have a lot to do. Therefore, he has every reason to demand that his government commit to speeding up negotiations with Congress.”he declared.
O minister said he has Dialogue every day with parliamentarians who are helping to negotiate the approval of structuring projects. “This year alone there were 52 meetings, with 75 parliamentarians”he wrote.

The vice president also published another meme on social media in which his face appears on the body of a Post Office delivery man. “Today the good news came from Sedex 10”wrote Alckmin when commenting on the approval of PL (bill) 2 of 2024, which deals with the call “super-accelerated depreciation”.
The CAE (Economic Affairs Committee) of the Senate approved the report by Senator Jaime Bagattoli (PL-RO) of the bill giving discounts to companies to renew machinery. “With dialogue and partnership with the National Congress, we are increasingly moving towards greater growth, with innovation, competitiveness and incentives for productive investments”wrote the minister.
