A doctor and psychoanalyst, former partner of President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva’s youngest son, Luís Cláudio, filed a police report against him this Tuesday (2) accusing him of attacks “of a physical, verbal, psychological and moral”. According to the woman’s defense, the court has already ordered protective measures, such as removing him from the house where they lived and prohibiting him from approaching or having contact with her.
According to the website UOL, Luís Cláudio reportedly said that his father, President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, would protect him against the doctor’s accusations. In a statement, Luís Cláudio’s defense stated that the statements are “fanciful”, that the “lies” could constitute crimes of slander, defamation and insult and that “the relevant legal measures will be taken”.
In a statement, the doctor’s defense says that she “faced a series of adversities that culminated in attacks of the most varied forms, as recorded in the police report”. “Her decision not to suffer in silence is a testimony to her firmness and determination to seek justice,” say lawyers Gabriela Sançana and Matheus Cavallini.
In the same note, they inform that protective measures were granted, “aimed at ensuring their physical and psychological integrity and safety”. If he fails to comply with the protective measures, Luís Cláudio may be arrested preventively and face a crime, punishable by three months to two years in detention.
