Piracicaba (SP) from this Tuesday (26th) extends flu vaccination to nighttime hours in some units. The aim is to expand vaccination coverage and reach the goal of immunizing 90% of priority groups.
This week, night vaccination takes place until Thursday (28). Basic Health Units (UBSs) Vila Rezende, Centro, Parque Piracicaba (Balbo) and Novo Horizonte will make the vaccine against influenza available 5pm to 9pm.
Next week, Monday (1st) to Friday (5th), at the same times, in addition to these four units, the UBSs Caxambu and Piracicamirim will also have night vaccinations.

This year the immunizer is trivalent, that is, it has three types of strains combined, protecting against the main viruses circulating in Brazil.
To be vaccinated in Piracicaba, you must fit into the target audience (see full list below) and present an identification document with photo, Pira Cidadão Card or SUS National Card.
In addition to nighttime hours, vaccination is also offered in all health units during business hours. -
