Vivo announced an update that completely overhauls its official app, creating a more user-friendly interface and reorganizing the menus so that the operator’s main services can be accessed more quickly.

The new version has already been released on both Android and iOS, and should appear as an automatic update for all users gradually. But if you want to take care of this manually, just open your profile in the corresponding store on your system and access the app management tab to check for an update.

According to Vivo, the highlight of this new version is an exclusive customer area, which displays the category to which your plan belongs and lists a series of benefits linked to it. The subscriptions tab shows maintenance services, such as financial consultations, issuing invoices and the volume of consumption of your data plan (in the case of Vivo Pós customers). If you are a package customer – that is, you have smartphone and home internet products, for example – they will all be in this part, in separate tabs.

“This evolution of the Vivo app continues to have personalization as its pillar, which allows each customer to have an exclusive home, with contextualized offers, specific messages for them, such as when our technician is traveling to assist them, or when they reach the data limit of your plan, and even when the invoice is ready to pay”, said Vivo’s executive director of customer experience, Carla Beltrão.

The executive continued, saying: “these messages are always shown in a contextual situation that involves the customer’s moment in their relationship with Vivo and also opportunities for targeted offers according to their needs.”

According to the operator, Vivo’s official application generates around 84 million interactions every month, with a daily average of 4.4 accesses per day for each company customer. Today, Vivo claims to have 22 million users registered through the app.

With 2.7 million new monthly downloads, the app recorded a 5% growth in the number of unique users in 2023, and 83% of contacts between customers and the operator are made via the app – in other words: less and less, its consumers depend on in-person visits to stores or telephone calls.

In terms of sales, the Vivo app is responsible for approximately 70% of new business conducted by the operator.
