“We always warn countries carrying out airdrop operations about the danger of incorrect procedures, because some of this aid lands at sea, some lands in the occupied Palestinian territories and some ends up in dangerous areas, putting the lives of starving civilians in extreme danger,” described the statement.

Military aircraft have been dropping humanitarian aid shipments for several weeks, with support from countries including the United Kingdom, France, the United States, Egypt and Jordan.

On March 8, five people were killed and ten injured when aid packages were dropped from planes in Gaza City.
