After confirming Eloy Casagrande as the band’s new drummer Slipknot caused a new phenomenon to occur on the band’s social networks, with a wave of comments in Portuguese applauding the Brazilian drummer’s visit to the North American group. The problem is that some users are complaining about this, stating that they no longer find posts in English:
“Why are all the comments in Portuguese?“, complained one user. You can also find comments such as: “I would love to see a comment in English”, replied another. This type of post is among 150 other indirect messages from fans, who are not liking the Brazilian effect on Slipknot’s Instagram.
This raised the issue of other famous figures who were bothered by the excess of Brazilian fans on their social networks. In 2016, during an interview with The Rich Eisen Show, actor Tyler James Williams, who became known worldwide for starring in the series “Todo Mundo Hates Chris”, complained about the number of Brazilian fans on his Instagram.

In that interview, James William said: “It must have been a game in Brazil or something like that. Apparently, they saw ‘Everybody Hates Chris’ and this is their thing: filling their timeline with Portuguese. There are more than 275 thousand comments in Portuguese”, exclaimed the actor.
“I don’t know what’s going on, it’s so confusing. We called Instagram to ask if it was a bot or spam. And they said, ‘no, each user is a real person.’ Apparently, it’s something they do in Brazil where they decide who they’re going to make fun of or like. After that, they post the same text all the time.”said Tyler James Williams.
