In the list of the richest in the world released by Forbes this Monday (1st), there are 69 Brazilians. The one who leads the ranking is Eduardo Saverin, one of the founders of Facebook, with assets of 28 billion dollars (R$141.4 billion, at current prices).
Saverin is followed by Vicky Safra is the widow of banker Joseph Safra, one of the owners of Banco Safra. Last year, she topped the Brazilian list.
Jorge Paulo Lemann, Marcel Telles and Carlos Alberto Sicupira, main partners of 3G and the Amber empire complete the top 5 on the list. Fernando Roberto Moreira Salles and Pedro Moreira Salles, controllers of Itaú Unibanco, André Esteves, of BTG Pactual, Alexandre Behring, one of the partners of 3G Capital and Miguel Krigsner, founder of O Boticário, complete the ranking of richest Brazilians.
