“Well, the difference is that this [trabalho solo] It’s not Iron Maiden! When you make an Iron Maiden record, you’re aware that you need to respect a style, a legacy, a history and everything. But with my solo material, the only thing I have to respect is the authenticity of the vocals, the way the songs are presented”, said Bruce, who then gave an example of something he would hardly be able to include on a Maiden album .

“To give an example, the song ‘Resurrection Men’ [faixa de ‘The Mandrake Project’] has an opening like a Quentin Tarantino film or an Ennio Morricone theme, from which I took this spaghetti western vibe and transported it through a Queen riff, with a Geezer Butler-like bass (something Roy Z invented). Therefore, all this type of mixing is what I can do as a solo artist!”, added Dickinson, who will soon travel to Brazil with her project.
