“Tela Quente” will show this Monday (06/5) the spin-off “Fast and Furious: Hobbs & Shaw”, from 2019. The production will air at 10:25 pm (Brasília time), after the soap opera “ Reborn.” Released between “Fast and Furious 8” and “Fast and Furious 9”, the Hobbs and Shaw spin-off is the ninth film in the chronological order of the series.
According to the synopsis, since they met, Luke Hobbs (Dwayne Johnson) and Deckard Shaw (Jason Statham) have constantly clashed, not only because they were initially on opposite sides but, especially, due to each one’s personality.
But now, the duo has to join forces to face a new adversary: Brixton Lore (Idris Elba), a genetically altered villain who wants to use a deadly virus in a plan that would kill millions of people in the name of a supposed evolution of humanity.
To do this, they count on the help of Hattie (Vanessa Kirby), Shaw’s sister, who is also an agent for MI6, the British secret service.
Directed by David Leitch, the North American production also features actors Eiza González, Helen Mirren, Ryan Reynolds and Kevin Hart in the cast.
The production is rated for viewers aged 14 and over. The duration is 2h16, but will be reduced to 1h45 to adapt to TV Globo’s programming schedule.
In the Portuguese version, the voice actors are Armando Tiraboschi, Flavia Fontenelle, Guilherme Briggs, Luísa Viotti, Mariangela Cantú and Ronaldo Júlio, according to Rede Globo.
On streaming platforms, “The Fast and the Furious: Hobbs & Shaw” is only available for purchase and rent.
