After the success of Spider-Man: No Way Home, fans are eagerly awaiting the next film featuring the hero played by Tom Holland, in this case Spider-Man 4.
And according to the latest information, Marvel and Sony are now searching for a director for Spider-Man 4which already has a script by the duo Chris McKenna It is Erik Sommersthe same screenwriters from the hero’s three previous films.
And while a new director has not been announced, journalist Alex Perez brought new information about the plot of the 4th film, which promises to bring the saddest Peter Parker story ever seen on film. Check out:
In No Way Home, when his identity is revealed, he discovers that Peter Parker and Spider-Man cannot coexist without endangering the people he loves. In Spider-Man 4, the idea is to give him a feeling of independence. In his mind, Peter Parker no longer exists… but Spider-Man lives on.
Because he lost everyone when the world forgot who Peter Parker is, all he has to go on is being Spider-Man, whether the city loves him for it or not. And as the Spider-Man title continues to slowly consume his life, the Peter Parker side will take a backseat and continue to slowly fade from existence.

Even though it hasn’t been officially announced by Sony Pictures and Marvel Studios yet, it’s a fact that a Spider-Man 4 starring Tom Holland is actively in development right now.
In an interview in June 2023, Holland revealed that the film’s script was “very good”. And also in interviews, the President of Sony stated that he hopes that both Tom Holland and Zendaya return for the fourth film.
Rumors suggest that the fourth film should introduce Miles Morales to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and should have the Kingpin as its main villain – find out more.
The hero’s new film does not yet have a release date, but it is expected to premiere before the next Avengers film – which has a release date of May 2026. Therefore, it is likely that the film will debut in theaters around 2025.
