The arrival of a cold front should bring relief to temperatures above 30°C in the state of Rio de Janeiro in the next days. The possibility of rain also increases with the passage of the system, according to the Climate weather.
At the beginning of the week, pre-frontal heat returns to punish the metropolitan region of the state. The maximum this Monday (13), in the city of Rio, could reach 38°C. It is worth remembering that the thermal sensation may be greater in some neighborhoods of the city.
From Tuesday (14/05), the movement of a new cold front should cause a reduction in high temperatures and increase the possibility of some rain. There is no risk of major storms in the state, but some showers may occur with moderate to strong intensity on an irregular basis.
On Wednesday (15/05), thermometers will show a significant decline, with the maximum not exceeding 26ºC. The minimum can reach 17ºC. Mild temperatures, with the possibility of rain at any time of the day, will remain until the weekend.
