Shirts of all Udinese players will be auctioned

BY BRUNO ANDRADE – Udinese will carry out a solidarity action for those affected by the floods in Rio Grande do Sul.
The Italian club will use a “patch” on its uniform in honor of the state of Rio Grande do Sul in its next match with the words “Insieme per il Brasile” (“Together for Brazil”, in free translation). The team takes the field this Monday (13) against Lecce, in the third to last round of the Italian League.

All players’ shirts will be auctioned after the match, and the money will go to the victims of Rio Grande do Sul. The entire amount raised will go directly into the current account of the Brazilian Embassy in Rome;

Auction bidding will begin shortly after the game against Lecce and end on May 23rd, all through a specific website (click here)

The Italian club, through a special statement sent to the press, states that “it has always been proud of its diversity and of the many Brazilian players who played for the club, including Amoroso and the legendary Zico”.

Currently, Udinese, which is fighting relegation in the Italian League, has two Brazilian players in its squad: midfielder Walace, ex-Grêmio, and striker Brenner, ex-São Paulo.
