A 17-year-old teenager identified as Expedito Moises Multado da Silva died of electrocution this Saturday (11) after putting his hand on a power pole while playing futsal in a square in the Jóquei Clube neighborhood, west of Boa Vista.

Two boys, aged 17 and 18, reported that they were playing on the square’s Futsal court, when at one point the victim went to jump over the court’s railing, and when he placed his hand on the post that is close to the court, he suffered a shock. electricity, staying for a while with one hand on the grid and the other on the pole receiving the electrical discharge.

According to the Military Police (PM), the Mobile Emergency Care Service (Samu) team was providing first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation to the victim. He died at the scene.

Witnesses said that because they did not know whether the victim had vital signs, residents called Samu and the Military Police. Forensics were called and then the Institute of Legal Medicine removed the body.

A team from Roraima Energia was on site to interrupt the supply and disconnect electricity from the Jóquei Clube square for safety reasons. The case was forwarded to the Civil Police for appropriate action.
