On May 6th, the Port Authority of Alagoas hosted a special ceremony in honor of the birthday of the Captain of the Ports of Alagoas, Frigate Captain Luciano da Silva Teixeira. The event was attended by the entire crew and members of the board of directors of the Sociedade Amigos da Marinha de Alagoas (SOAMAR-AL), highlighting the spirit of camaraderie and mutual respect between members of the Navy and the local maritime community.

During the ceremony, the SOAMAR-AL board presented Captain Luciano with a personalized souvenir, symbolizing appreciation and recognition for his service and leadership. This gesture strengthened ties between the Captaincy and civil society, highlighting the Navy’s vital role in strengthening community relations.
Captain Luciano expressed his gratitude to everyone present, taking the moment to thank them for the continuous support received during his command. His speech highlighted the importance of cooperation and mutual support, essential for the success of the missions assigned to the Captaincy and for the safety of maritime operations in the region.
